Pax Database
Manage and search passenger records from confirmed e-tickets in the system.
1 What's on this page
The Pax Database displays a table of unique passengers extracted from all confirmed e-tickets in the system. Each passenger record is identified by their ID or passport number and shows their most recent ticket information. The page provides search functionality to quickly locate passengers and view their complete ticketing history.
What you see here
- Search bar: Quick search across passenger names and ID/passport numbers
- Passenger table: List of unique passengers with key identification details
- Ticket badges: Each passenger shows a count of tickets with active flights
- Pagination controls: Page through large passenger lists with adjustable items per page
Who uses this page
- Passenger services staff: Team members who manage ticketing and passenger inquiries
- Operations staff: Personnel who need to verify passenger details for flights
- Administrators: Users with full passenger services access
Automatic passenger records: This database is automatically populated from confirmed e-tickets. Each unique ID or passport number creates a single passenger record that consolidates information from all tickets issued to that passenger.
Permission required: You need passenger services database access to view this page. If you see a "Not Authorised" message, contact your administrator to request the appropriate permissions.
2 Search for passengers
The search bar at the top of the page allows you to quickly filter the passenger list. The search is performed in real-time as you type, searching across multiple fields simultaneously.
Searchable fields
- First name: Passenger's given name
- Surname: Passenger's family name
- Middle name(s): Any middle names recorded on tickets
- ID or passport number: The unique identifier for each passenger
Search results update instantly as you type. If no passengers match your search terms, you'll see a message indicating "There are no ticketed passengers for your search terms." Clear the search box to view all passengers again.

5 Understanding passenger categories
Passenger categories help classify passengers for ticketing, weight and balance calculations, and regulatory compliance. Categories are shown as abbreviations in the passenger table:
| Abbreviation | Category | Age Display | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| M | Male (Adult) | A | Adult male passenger |
| F | Female (Adult) | A | Adult female passenger |
| C | Child | Years (e.g., "5 yrs.") | Requires date of birth; age calculated in years |
| I | Infant | Months (e.g., "8 mos.") | Requires date of birth; age calculated in months |
Passenger categories are configured in the Passenger Services Settings page and are assigned when tickets are created. The category from the passenger's most recent ticket is displayed in the Pax Database.
