Registration

Create your Musket account using your organisation’s login URL.

Use self-registration when enabled, or ask an admin to create your account for you. Email verification and admin approval are both required before you can sign in.

1 Know before you start

  • Registration starts at your organisation URL (example: https://yourorg.musketfms.com/Account/Login), then choose Register.
  • You can self-register if your organisation allows it. Otherwise, ask an admin to add your account.
  • After self-registration, two steps must happen before you can sign in: verify your email via the welcome message, and wait for an admin to approve your account.
  • Your username and password are reused for Musket on web and on the iOS/Android apps.

2 Self-register from your login page

  1. Go to your org URL ({org}.musketfms.com/Account/Login) and select Register.
  2. Enter your name, email, identity/passport info, nationality, and choose applicable roles if shown.
  3. Create a password that meets the complexity rules, confirm it, and submit.
  4. Open the welcome email and click the verification link to confirm your address.
  5. Wait for your administrator to approve the account; you can sign in once approved.

Result: Account remains pending until both email verification and admin approval are complete.

3 Have an admin create your account

Use this when the Register option is hidden or your org prefers admin-created accounts.

  1. Provide your admin with your name, email, and the access/roles you need.
  2. The admin adds you; the account is marked approved and email-confirmed immediately.
  3. You receive a welcome email with a button to create your password. Follow it, set your password, then sign in.

Result: No self-registration form needed; approval and verification are set by the admin, and you set your password from the welcome email.

4 What the form asks for

  • First Name and Surname: required.
  • Email: must be reachable; the verification link is sent here.
  • Identity Number and/or Passport Number: provide at least one.
  • Nationality: pick from the list provided.
  • Roles: shown only if your organisation allows selecting roles during registration.
  • Password: must meet complexity (length, upper/lower, number, special character) and match the confirmation field.

5 After you submit

  • You receive a welcome email with a verification link; the link must be opened to confirm your email.
  • Self-registration requires admin approval before login is allowed.
  • Admin-created accounts are already verified and approved; use the welcome email button to set your password, then sign in.
  • Use the same credentials on web and mobile apps.

6 Rules and approvals

  • Email verification is mandatory; an unverified email cannot be used to sign in.
  • Self-registration: admin approval is required after verification; pending accounts cannot access Musket.
  • Admin-created: accounts are created as approved and email-confirmed; follow the welcome email to set your password and sign in.
  • If you do not see the Register option, self-registration is disabled—ask an admin to add you.

7 Troubleshooting

  • No Register button: Self-registration is disabled; contact an admin to create your account.
  • No welcome email: Check spam/junk; confirm you used the correct email; ask your admin to resend.
  • Approved but still cannot sign in: Ensure you verified your email; if verified, ask your admin to confirm approval status.
