Reset your Musket password

Use the reset link on your organisation’s login page to receive a password reset email.

You need access to the email on your account. If you never registered, create an account or ask an admin to add you first.

1 When to use password reset

  • You forgot your password but still have access to your email address.
  • You can open your organisation login page (e.g., https://yourorg.musketfms.com/Account/Login).
  • Your account is already created and approved; this flow only resets the password.

2 Request a reset link

  1. Go to your organisation login page and select Forgot your password?
  2. Enter the email on your Musket account and submit.
  3. Check your inbox (and spam/junk) for the reset email, then open it.
  4. Click the button in the email to choose a new password that meets the complexity rules, then save.
  5. Return to the login page and sign in with your new password.

If no email arrives, confirm you used the correct address and try again. If it still fails, ask your admin to confirm your account and email.

3 What you’ll see after submitting

After you submit your email, Musket shows a confirmation page telling you to check your email. Use the link in that message to finish the reset.

4 Rules and reminders

  • You must own the email on the account to reset the password.
  • Passwords must meet the complexity rules and match the confirmation field.
  • If you see “Email address not confirmed,” resend the confirmation from the login page and verify before resetting.

5 Troubleshooting

  • No reset email: Check spam/junk; confirm the email you entered is on your Musket account; try again.
  • Email not verified: From the login page, click Resend confirmation link, verify, then restart the reset.
  • Account not approved or deactivated: Contact your admin to approve or reactivate the account.
  • Still stuck: Ask an admin to confirm your account email and status, then attempt another reset.
