Inventory
Manage aircraft parts inventory with comprehensive tracking and assignment management.
1 What's on this page
The Inventory page provides comprehensive management of aircraft parts and components. The page organises parts by type and allows you to track their locations, assignments, and history across your maintenance operations.
Key Features
- Three part categories: Airframe, Engine, and Propeller parts
- Part type organisation: Group parts by type with expandable views
- Location tracking: Track parts in stores, on aircraft, engines, or propellers
- Assignment history: Complete history of part movements and assignments
- Document management: Attach documents to individual parts
- Flexible filtering: Filter by part type, aircraft, aircraft type, or store
Page Areas
- Search Bar: Top-left search with searchable field information
- View Toggle: Centre toggle between Active and Deactivated parts
- Action Buttons: Top-right dropdowns for adding parts and part types
- Filter Section: Advanced filtering by aircraft, type, and store
- Main Table: Expandable part types showing individual parts
Part Types vs Parts: Part types define categories (e.g., "Landing Gear Strut"), while parts are individual items with serial numbers. Each part must belong to a part type.
The page automatically saves changes and updates the view when you add, edit, or move parts. Expand part types to see individual parts and their current assignments.
